Del encuentro participaron el expresidente Mauricio Macri, el Premio Nobel de Literatura Mario Vargas Llosa y el expresidente uruguayo Julio María Sanguinetti, entre decenas de gobernadores, legisladores y referentes políticos de la Argentina y el exterior.

El momento central de la noche fue un diálogo entre Macri, Vargas Llosa y Sanguinetti, con Álvaro Vargas Llosa como moderador. Abrieron la conversación sentados en cómodos sillones, ante el silencio expectante de los presentes. El Intendente de Las Rosas Javier Meyer fue invitado a participar de la misma. Allí pudo dialogar con el expresidente Mauricio Macri, la presidenta del Pro Patricia Bulrich y el dirigente libertario José Luis Espert entre otros.
